Team Moscow State University #1. Very strong
team ... but ranking only 4th in our contest. Anton Lapunov was the absolute
winner of all-Russia school olympiad in 1994, two times participated in the
International Olympiad in Informatics in 1993 (silver medal) and 1994 (gold
medal), also he participated in the ACM Contest Finals 1996. Vitaly Berov
participated in the IOI in 1994 and 1995 (silver medal two times).
Victor Matiukhin, the 1-st year student of MSU, participated in the
IOI 1996 (gold medal). A curious fact, that all participants of this team
came from Vyatka city (former Kirov). All of them were pupils of
Stanislav Okulov, the teacher who
educated many talented young programmers in Vyatka.
